The House
Every house keeps a treasure.
This is the story of why we stopped searching for the right fragrance, and started making it.
kahō · family treasure
In Japanese, kahō is the thing a family treasures and passes down. We wanted a fragrance that felt like that: not a passing smell, but something a house keeps.

Chapter 1
The search
For years we tried everything: the car fresheners at the petrol pump, the candles in glossy boxes, the imported bottles we saved for special days. We collected more fragrances than we could use.

Chapter 2
What was missing
The everyday ones smelled synthetic and faded in a week. The beautiful ones were never made for the places we actually spend our lives: the drive to work, the living room on a Sunday. Luxury always seemed to live somewhere else.

Chapter 3
So we built a house
We started blending our own. Fewer notes, better oils, scents that unfold slowly instead of shouting. We tested each one through Indian summers and monsoons until it lasted the way we wanted.

Chapter 4
The promise
House of KAHŌ is luxury fragrance made to be lived with, not saved for later. Considered enough to feel like an heirloom, priced so you can enjoy it every day.
What we stand for
Luxury you can live with.
-
01
Restraint
A scent should be noticed, not announced. We blend for quiet presence over loud first impressions.
-
02
Longevity
Made to linger in the heat of a parked car and the stillness of a room.
-
03
Considered luxury
Glass, wood and paper chosen with care, at a price that welcomes you in rather than keeping you out.
